Röyksopp – “Thank You”
Röyksopp is ending the year and the traditional album format with what will be a stunning final album. “The Inevitable End” is dropping next week and we can’t seem to get these tracks out of our minds. The latest single to come off the album is simply called “Thank You.” It is one of the standout moments of the album for sure. A slow and seductive electronic groove is accompanied by vocoder filtered vocals. The duo made sure to provide rich, reflective and contemplative lyrical content. There is also a really cool breakdown with a synth solo. By now it’s safe to say that this is going to be one of our favorite albums of the year.
