This one is for all you looking to party this weekend! The tastemakers over at Blanc shared this surging freebie to get you in the mood. We should all be familiar with the classic 80s and 90s house trio Black Box that had hits that remain our favorites to this day. “Ride On Time” is one of those tracks that you can drop into a set and watch the dance floor light up. So when we saw that George Marshman put his golden touch on it we knew the track would be in good hands. He bumps up the bass and tempo and uses Martha Wash’s vocals beautifully. Check it out up above! And grab the free download here.

London’s Anti Skate crew showers us with bops on bops. They just shared a sampler of a new EP getting ready to drop from Brighton up-and-comer Tech Support. Four aurally delectable house cuts make up this outing and we’re here for ALL OF THEM. They even got support from the folks over at Mixmag yesterday when they premiered the euphoric B-side club anthem “Friends.” You’ll catch three soulful, funk tinged originals from Tech Support as well as a remix from Jesse Bru. Pre-order link after the jump!
Kelela teams up with Kaytranada for a sultry rendition of her song “Waitin.” If you’ve heard a Kaytranada flip before then you know he lays it down every single time. This remix is soft when it needs to be and also ready to get you on the dance floor when the mood strikes. Kelela’s vocals pierce deep and are given the space to really shine. It’s so good that it should really be on the soundtrack for an episode of Insecure because whoever is in control of the music on that show is on point. Catch this remix and a whole slew of other ones on Kelela’s ‘TAKE ME A_PART, THE REMIXES’ slated for an October 5th drop. Stream the remix up above!
This next one is serving up some saucy Detroit house vibes courtesy of the talented Javonntte. He’s welcomed to the wewillalwaysbealovesong family with a debut EP titled ‘January People.’ Three proper house cuts are on deck and are guaranteed to have your ears perked up and those hips in motion. Our favorite is “All Right“ with a swinging jazzy beat, plenty of bass, soulful crooning and even some vocoder action for that extra bit of oomph.
The much awaited Vol. 8 of LA.GA.STA‘s ever tasteful ‘Late Summer Compilation’ series is finally here! And the entire thing is up for grabs over on their Bandcamp page. The compilation brings 13 new tracks featuring the likes of Keita Sano, Jac The Disco, Man Power, Seb Wildblood, Earth Boys and more! After the jump you’ll find the top notch contribution from Perel in the form of a remix from L.A talent Cooper Saver!
Munich based imprint Permanent Vacation dropped a new EP on Friday from fellow German duo Tuff City Kids called “Reach Out.” The track is a mesmerizing late night gem that doubles as a collaboration with Joe Goddard. Apparently the track was written one night in Joe’s studio right before the duo was set to play XOYO and later Joe included the vocals. On the release you’ll also find two stellar remixes from the one-and-only Erol Alkan and Osborne. Check out the original and the Erol remix after the jump!
Never thought we would hear this Bobby Caldwell classic molded into a late night house anthem. Surely, we are all familiar with the ultimate slow jam “What You Won’t Do For Love” and it looks like Manchester based producer Swales is here to refresh our memories with a solid edit. With a significant tempo boost, plenty of bass and enough of the original groove on a loop this edit does a great job of maintaining the essence and the vibe.
AlunaGeorge shines through with the perfect chill Sunday anthem. They released a new video for their latest track “Superior Emotion” a couple of days ago. The groove is like chillwave R&B with a melancholic tone that matches the lyrics. She sings of something we can all relate to: wanting to have that feeling of elation that comes from falling in love and the disappointment from not always attaining it. The song features vocals from Cautious Clay who makes a cameo in the video alongside Aluna. Check it out up above.
T-E-E-D, a.k.a Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs dropped this banger a couple weeks ago and it’s now the soundtrack to our weekend. The single is called “Energy Fantasy“ and it’s over 6 and a half minutes of hard-hitting dance floor fodder. The bass is potent and even better with the synth riffs he throws in. The breakdowns a particularly beautiful with lighter tones catapulting this gem into the heavens. Stream it after the jump!
We’re a little over two weeks away from a new release from Lane 8. Mark your calendars for October 4th when he’ll be unleashing ,‘Little By Little Remixed,’ the remix package for his sophomore album released back in January. Earlier today he shared the magnetic new remix for “Hold On” by the super talented Ben Böhmer. Ben was a great choice to take on “Hold On” as we see him handle the original with respect and transforming it into a brilliant, uplifting anthem. The vocals are elevated with a heart-tugging reverb effect and he adds these amazing synth chords that give it a majestic quality that has us hooked.
