Who can resist a sumptuous, deep and jazzy house original? We certainly can’t which is why we’ve had this one on repeat all day! It hails from Denmark via the golden touch of Niles Cooper. He teams up with Normandy based label Planet Gwer known for pumping out top notch house music. The track is the B side of Niles’ new 12″ EP ‘Feelin’ Deep.’ If that sexy trumpet hitting all the right spots right from the intro doesn’t peak your interest then you definitely need to get your ears checked.
Brb. We’re currently vibing to all the glorious feel-good vibes that this jam is churning out. It’s a soulful and melodic little ditty from Slug Father called “I Wish I Could.” The track is lifted from Irish imprint Jelly Red‘s third VA installment that dropped a few weeks back featuring tracks from SWIN, Adamant and Mark Laird. Slug Father definitely brings the heat with this groovy cut with a Glenn Jones sample that is aimed at making those love connections on the dance floor. Dive in after the jump!
The brand new video for Hayden James‘ latest track “Just Friends” is out and serving up all the feels. Much like the name suggests the track centers around themes of friends realizing they haven’t quite reached the friend zone and there are more feelings than they would like to admit. The video mirrors the track and features two protagonists that enjoy a day of hanging out as “just friends” in Santa Monica realizing by the end of the night that they vibing with each other as more than friends. The track is oh-so-groovy with an R&B tinge featuring vocals from Boy Matthews. Check out the video up above!
The “All Your Love” remixes are here! And they’re going to be holding us over up until Flight Facilities lands in L.A in September for their show. We’re beyond excited to hear all these new tracks live with two new vocalists joining them on tour. The remix package includes two versions of the track by Parisian label boss Joakim and a remix from Morgan Page. Joakim gives the track a brilliant, bubbling and sun-kissed “paradise” mix as well as a gorgeous vocal mix that takes the track to deeper cinematic territory. Morgan Page flips the original into an uptempo electronica groove that is slightly reminiscent of early Digitalism. Check out all three versions after the jump!
Manchester based producer Swales is currently on an constant loop here with this amazing new EP titled ‘Night Cuisine.’ The release brings four top notch originals that showcase his talents for providing lush, soul infused house cuts that melt in your ear and course through your entire body. Pulsing bass, perfectly selected vocal samples, infectious funk, melodic instrumentals and the best elements of disco, funk and house. This EP is an instant favorite for us. It’s pretty hard to choose one standout so you really need to listen to all four tracks! Stream after the jump. Big ups to Swales and the Honey Butter Records crew for this gem.
Get your ears ready for this intoxicating ride from Berlin based producer Black Loops. He takes us on a journey through soulful basslines, heady synth arpeggios and groovy percussion. This is not one you want to be sitting down for because it hits the ground running. From the first few seconds you get a taste of that lush rhythm. The track is lifted from a V.A compilation titled ‘Crossovers/Alley Oops’ via the Parisian imprint De La Groove.

London collective, Jungle, shared a new director’s cut version a few days ago for their latest track “Happy Man” rocking some of that addictive modern soul. The original video appeared back in May and in it we saw the group watching a woman giving it all in performance on TV. For this director’s cut we are taken into the scene that was unfolding on the TV and get to see her full performance. The star is Nat Zangi and this super talented dancer gives a memorable show. Everything about her movements and emotions on her face gave us a new perspective on the song and lyrics. Check it out up above!
This new Hush Hush has us in the mood to dance. “hh123“ is the name and it rocks a groovy classic house vibe with deep percussion and undulating synths. There’s also an iconic Diana Ross sample that is the cherry on top. He shared a preview of this jam a while ago and now it officially gets a full release. And there’s also promises of more to come so we’ll definitely be keeping an ear out for that.
