We finally get a full stream of the latest from Flight Facilities! The duo has been on tour for a little over a month now starting in New Zealand and Australia. And they are making their way to North America for the second part of their tour. So a few weeks ago the duo shared clip of one of the live shows where they invited fellow Australian musician Dustin Tebbutt to the stage to perform their new collaboration. It was the ultimate tease with just a few seconds of the track. So we’ve been waiting patiently for this new single and release day is finally here!
The duo delivers a breathtaking merging of folk and electronic. Dustin’s vocals are arresting and haunting with notes that take you to new heights. The lyrics are so beautiful and emotional. If there’s one thing we can always count on from FF it’s that they always bring a much needed love song. And the way they end it, stripping it down to a folk recording has us feeling all the feels. The tour is going to be amazing this year!

Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman, the masterminds behind Eli & Fur, return home to Anjunadeep with a brand new EP. The lead single dropped earlier today and it’s titled ‘Night Blooming Jasmine.’ The single joins three other brand new originals and an extended mix of one of them. The track sees the UK duo return to their songwriting roots and creating a hybrid with their club tipped sound to make something completely organic and dance floor ready. The title track is absolutely beautiful with rolling percussive rhythm. Here’s a bit of what they mentioned about the release to Anjunadeep:
“We wrote most of the lyrics while in the city [Los Angeles] and recorded the vocals in the studio out there so listening to it really takes us back. The smell, the lights, the skies and not wanting to leave. As well as that sense of how Hollywood used to be. The decadence of it all and the cracks under the surface of the American dream.”
When summer rolls around Curt Reynolds is definitely in his element and ready to serve copious amounts of beach party vibes! Take his latest single for example, “Fill In The Blank” is brimming with brilliant energy and a groove that is peak hour ready. He has a knack for knowing exactly what the dance floor craves. The groove is killer with some very potent 90s house influence. We even love how he loops the vocals to end on that blank that ties it back into the song title. He makes it easy for us to slip into a state of aural euphoria. This one is going to be setting plenty of dance floors ablaze. Big ups to Curt for this anthem!
Anoraak invites us into his synthwave dream once again with a brand new anthem titled “Favor.” And he keeps that endless summer vibe going strong with this sun-kissed outing. The track’s infectious energy hooks us in right from the beginning. There’s no denying that the groove has summer anthem all over it with that bit of funk that gets the hips in motion. He knows exactly what we want to listen to on those drives down the coast. Hit that play button up above! Grab your copy here.
Berlin based producer Ray Kandinski stuns with a top notch 4 track EP titled ‘Cressida.’ It’s slated for a July release which means it we’ll be well into summer and ready to enjoy these dusty synth lines. The 12″ is dropping via Shall Not Fade‘s sister label, Lost Palms. Two weeks ago the label was kind enough to serve up a teaser for the release including clips of all four tracks. You get everything from slow burning groovers to vibrant dance floor anthems all under that Ray Kandinski brand of electronic dance music inspired from the 80s and 90s. The Athlete Whippet boys dropped their new EP, ‘Hands Only,’ on Friday and after all the teasers leading up to it our bodies were definitely ready! They premiered the 3rd and final original off the EP called “Dreams” with the SlothBoogie crew last week and it’s a total standout. These guys have a really refreshing take on modern house music that incorporates innovative textures and compositions. The EP comes with 3 originals and 3 remixes from some heavy hitters including Seb Wildblood, newcomer Tom Osmo and Max Graef. “Dreams” is the perfect intro, it’ll give you just enough to keep you coming back for more.
The Coastal Haze crew lives up to its name once again with an absolutely stellar new EP titled ‘Ocean City‘ from Pacific Coliseum. It includes four of our favorite tracks lifted from PC’s top notch LP from last year. And it comes just in time for the warmer months to come. He totally captures the mellifluous ebb and flow of ocean waves in this EP taking us from groovy dance worthy numbers to chill electronica with gorgeous instrumentals. We’re completely hooked, find out why after the jump!
We’ve been huge fans of the one-and-only Róisín Murphy for quite some time now and we were super pumped to hear that she was releasing new music! She has a new 12″ out with two brand new originals including the addictive single “All My Dreams.” It’s funky with a bit of danger and mystery and, of course, the songstress’ soulful vocals. She even dropped a self-directed video for the hedonistic dance anthem filmed in London where she collaborated with “dancers, choreographers, actors, dreamers” showcasing the pleasures of indulging in music and dance.
L.A based producer Hoodboi serves up a touching new music video for his stellar new single “Long Distance.” The track surfaced a few weeks back and last week he released the video with clips compiled from footage he found shot by his grandfather in Montréal back in 1976. The vintage footage captures moments in the life of his family soon after they migrated from Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. It totally matches the heartfelt and intimate vibe of the track. The track is out now via Fool’s Gold Records.
Montréal’s Kora dropped a double single EP with the taste-makers over at Anjunadeep. It’s called ‘Nous/Kanjira‘ and brings some of Kora’s signature sound blending organic and wild sounds with modern machine grooves. The result is a journey through the jungle with gorgeous aural textures. “Nous” boasts an exciting tribal electronica moment while “Kanjira” brings a more mellifluous groove that is just as potent as the former. Really impressive first outing on the imprint from Kora. Check it out after the jump!
