Owlle – “Don’t Lose It (Pyramid Nightdrive & Daydream Remixes)”
We can always count on the French to deliver some pretty kick-ass electronic tracks. Pyramid has been consistently popping up on our radar ever since Kitsuné put them on one of their famous compilations. Now, Pyramid teams up with the beautiful dream-pop chanteuse Owlle to put out two seriously jaw-dropping remixes for her song “Don’t Lose It”.
First up is his ‘Nightdrive’ remix which brings that usual mischievous electro dance groove that we love from Pyramid. Throughout this version we get whispers of the original vocals put through a bit of a robotic filter that further enhances that mechanical, fast-paced and energetic vibe.
The second remix is the ‘Daydream’ treatment that really makes use of a slower tempo and atmospheric overtones to build around the dreamy vocals. Both versions are really, really good. Kudos Pyramid and Owlle.
