Matrixxman – “Amulet EP”
Ghostly International’s sub-imprint, Spectral Sound, is putting out a brand new EP from San Francisco based producer Matrixxman. His Amulet EP will be dropping this coming monday so keep an ear out for that. It’s filled to the brim with warm, percussion heavy melodies that lean more on the experimental electronic spectrum. The occasional harsh tech vibe comes around to give it that edge mostly on the last track, “The Caravan”. The standout tracks for us have to be “Scimitar” with that dark, tech house melody and “Venetian Mask” with those warm electro synth layers on top of a cool house groove.
