Maria Usbeck – “Jungla Inquieta (Jensen Sportag Remix)”
Maria Usbeck is a singer/songwriter hailing from Ecuador who has been causing quite a stir on the blogosphere lately with her solo project. Her debut album ‘Amparo‘ dropped back in May via the taste-makers at Cascine. Since the release Maria has been lining up talented producers for a remix package, among them Jensen Sportag! This is the first taste we’ve had of the remix EP and it’s a glorious introduction. The duo transforms the track into an effervescent bit of disco pop that is understated, seductive and alluring. They incorporate a funky little bass line, spunky guitar licks, shimmering piano chords and a groove that is as captivating as it is dance worthy.
