Loframes – “Get Real (Can’t Touch Your Love) EP”

It’s exciting to stumble onto something this promising so early in the year! There’s a new duo on the scene composed of British singer, songwriter and producer James Yuill and French producer and On The Fruit label boss Franck Russo that are going by the moniker Loframes. This debut EP is definitely has them hitting the ground running. The pop sensibilities in both the title track and “1996” really reel you in while the extremely polished house tinged productions keep you glued to the speaker. The addition of the sax on the title track really gives that extra oomph. Everything about this EP oozes seductive dance floor soundtrack worthy of a crowded rooftop party overlooking a nighttime cityscape. Included in the EP is also a pulsing house remix from Kartell and indie dance renditions from aashton. All five tracks are available over on Beatport!
