L’Impératrice – “Vacances (Yuksek Remix)”

At the beginning of June we hopped at the chance to see Yuksek play a live set here in L.A and we had a magical night dancing to glorious disco. The transitions were seamless, the basslines were seductive and dance floor was beaming. There were also a few gems in the set that stood out, but we couldn’t quite pin point the track i.d’s. Yesterday, Yuksek shared his remix of L’IMPÉRATRICE and we realized that this was the track that had us going wild that night. He puts his spin on “Vacances” lifted from the Parisian group’s first LP ‘Matahari.’ The result is a golden, effervescent and addictive French disco anthem with a brilliant summer glow. It’s the perfect blend of classic and modern disco. Download link after the jump!
