Lana Del Rey – “Ultraviolence (Disciples Remix)”
Back in June LDR dropped her third album with a haunting title track, “Ultraviolence”, that had a lot of people falling in love with her all over again. In fact, the track became so popular that it is got released as a single on Monday with a mind-blowing array of remixes. One in particular has had our hands glued to that replay button and it hails from London via the triple threat known as Disciples. This production and DJ trio washes away the hazy, cinematic quality of the original and begins with beautiful chords that build into hi hats and a steady drum beat. Eventually the drop opens up the flood gates to deep and seductive basslines and grimy bass. Looks like you have another addition to your weekend round-up. Enjoy it thoroughly.
