La Féline – “La Mer Avalée (Zimmer Remix)”
This one hails from the “City of Light” via the captivating and refreshing pop soundwaves of La Féline. Her sophomore album dropped around this time last year and garnered a lot of praise for it’s innovative take on pop music. Recently she shared that one of our favorites, Zimmer, was going to be remixing “La Mer Avalée” off her album ‘Triomphe’ and it’s finally up for our streaming pleasure. He kicks it off with an effervescent, bubbling intro as her vocals surface like a siren call. Her voice leads us to the bass drop where a dark disco soundscape takes hold. It’s a beautifully handled remix that stays true to the original while giving us a new dance floor perspective.
