Kiwi – “Animals EP”

Kiwi

Duke Dumont’s taste making imprint Blasé Boys Club dropped a brand new EP this week from London based producer Kiwi. This genre spanning artist lays down four out-of-this-world tracks built to destroy dance floors worldwide. It’s called the Animals’ EP and it is definitely going to be added to our best of the year list. There is no dull moment on this EP. Every track has it’s own unique soundscapes.

“Short Tail” kicks things off with an irresistibly deep electronic dance energy worthy of any warehouse party. The simplicity in the beat allows for Kiwi to embellish some finer synth tones for that extra heady techno touch. Next up is “Fossa” with vocals from Takura and a scintillating and sultry slow burning groove. You’ll want to find a dance partner for this one because the sex appeal is oozing out of every bass stab.

The third track in the line up is known as “Atlanticus” and it carries a much more nefarious energy than the rest. All of the seductive, hypnotic, sweat inducing elements of this dark techno banger draw us to the dark side where we will find like minded people losing their minds on the dance floor. And finally we have “Pelican” rounding out the release with an eargasmic mix of analog and melodic electronica. This EP is not one you want to miss. Trust us.
