Juice Belushi – “Gator Boots Vol. 3”
Released in late March, Juice Belushi’s Gator Boots Vol. 3 is an EP filled with kinetic rhythms and hand selected samples. The duo Paul Foley and James Trocano has released the EP on Soul Clap in March. It begins the journey with an acoustic yet tribal track and ends it with a track that is to kill for–upbeat house track with tinges of soul train nostalgia. Not only does their music have the disco funk sound but they live it: using vinyl only samples with a simple drum machine and synthesizer basic set up. If you’re into the balmy analogue feel, take a deep listen.
