Jill Scott – “Golden (Royce Remix)”
With a tagline that reads “From Seoul, with love” it’s hard not to fall for the initial charm. Upon further inspection of their feed we are greeted by an impeccably produced remix for Jill Scott‘s “Golden” and we are completely sold! This new dynamic duo goes by the moniker Royce and has recently surfaced as “ones-to-watch” for us here at IHOS. If their remix of “Golden” sounds familiar, that’s because it was featured on Zimmer’s latest October tape “Into The Night.” Pulsating bass stabs and hi-hat combo lead the charge as Jill’s vocals join the fray and shimmering chords introduce the full effect of the beat. If this is any indication of what is to come from these two newcomers, well then we are definitely staying on their trail. Way to kick things off you two! Keep the gems on gems coming!
