Gallant – “Weight In Gold (Zimmer Remix)”
L.A.’s very own Gallant has all the makings of a breakout artist, even Sir Elton John agrees that he is a promising new talent. “Weight In Gold” is one of his more emotive and dynamic tracks. The production on all of this tracks is exquisite and oh-so lush playing with some really fresh beats and melodies. This is what nu R&B should be about. And it looks like our beloved Zimmer is also showing his support for Gallant with a lovely horizontal disco remix of “Weight In Gold.” It taps into the rich emotive content and tones of the original while giving it a tempo boost and hot dance floor tinged groove.
