Galcher Lustwerk – “In The Place”
The Ghostly International crew has teamed up with Adult Swim to deliver a 14 track VA. This is the second installment of the “Ghostly Swim” series which will see a release date on April 28th. The idea behind the compilation is to play on the concept of “music you could ignore as easily as you could give it your full attention, like a sort of sonic wallpaper.” Closing out the list is one of our favorites, Galcher Lustwerk, with a brand new track known as “In the Place.” Galcher plays very well off that theme with a percussion laden track that borders on atmospheric with subdued sounds and beat patterns and then the low, spoken vocals come in to feed a little more into that hip-hop that this track is rooted in.
