If there is one thing we as music aficionados will devour, it’s music samplers from reputable labels. Compilations, or tasting platters, have been an integral part of any label since before music blogs, Hype Machine or Pandora. It has always been a way for fans of the label to be introduced to new music. Future Classic recently used their US tour as an excuse to launch a music sampler of their own:

“Tastemaking Australian label Future Classic—the home of Flume, Chet Faker, Flight Facilities, Classixx, Ta-ku and more—will launch a series of intimate club nights in the U.S. this fall. Kicking off October 22 in San Francisco, followed by dates October 23 in Los Angeles and October 24 in New York, the party series will feature Future Classic artists and friends including Classixx, SOPHIE, Cyril Hahn, HNNY, Kenton Slash Demon, Touch Sensitive, Basenji, Charles Murdoch and many more.

To celebrate, FC are releasing the FC 2015 Sampler, a BitTorrent Bundle of previously unreleased songs from Touch Sensitive, Chrome Sparks, Charles Murdoch and Thrupence some recent favourites from Flume, Basenji, Kenton Slash Demon, HWLS and Panama and a series of exclusive photographs shot by Ta-ku, who is playing MoMA PS1 on October 25 with Charles Murdoch & Basenji.
