Duke Dumont – “Won’t Look Back”
Duke Dumont has been blowing up the last few months with killer releases including, ‘I Got U’ and ‘Hold On’, and now we are adding “Won’t Look Back” to that list. And just to get a sense of how much he’s grown, this track alone got over 46K plays within the first few hours of being posted. It’s really no wonder that it got that much attention right away, because this song is on point!
He kicks things off with an approachable and strong chord melody paired with the diva-est of vocals, but when those deep and pulsating pads come in the vibe transforms into one of late night revelry and marathon dance sessions. It has that addictive big room euphoria while still maintaining a grounded 90s house/dance vibe. Really beautiful work here from Mr. Dumont and it might be his best work yet.
