Curses – “Heartbeat (Original Mix)”
New music is hailing from the deep, late night recesses of Brooklyn. More specifically from a newborn label known as Safer At Night. It was established by three of Brooklyn’s finest: Curses, DKDS and Total Fitness in an effort to push “Late-night sounds, showcasing artists of Gotham’s darker hours.” In their sixth release the rising imprint will see a brand new three track ambient and deep house EP from Curses. This gotham house wizard recently shared the full stream of the EP’s title track, “Heartbeat”, with the folks over at Deep House Amsterdam and we are hooked. The late night ambient vibe courses through it’s core with a steady and subdued beat reminiscent of those last few hours before dawn. That rolling, thunderous bassline sends chills down the spine.
