Cubicolor – “Magnum EP”
Cubicolor and Anjunadeep continue to impress. Last year we were floored by the majestic tracks off their Got This Feeling EP. They are following up that stellar release with a new EP simply labeled ‘Magnum’ which will drop February 16th (next Monday). So far, Cubicolor has shared two pieces to the puzzle and we are completely smitten once again.
The title track was premiered last week by the folks over at Deep House Amsterdam. The track is dripping with those warm, silky indie textures that they are so adept at handling. They have a way of keeping us hooked because with each passing second another layer or sound is introduced taking us just a little bit deeper into space.
The second track is called “All Zero” and it brings a much more solid and grounded melody. The atmospheric synths are never far behind. This melody is beautifully crafted with cinematic instrumentals that really take it to another level. All we know is that we are eagerly awaiting the release or the last piece of the three track EP, whichever comes first!
