Crystal Bandito – “Feel So Free EP”
Jimmy Edgar’s ULTRAMAJIC imprint has enlisted some new talent that goes by the moniker Crystal Bandito. Not much is known about this mysterious new beat-smith, but one thing is certain: he definitely belongs in the Ultramajic family. This four track slab of trippy cybernetic soundwaves is sure to spark your interest in this enigmatic character. For now all we need to go off of is his music and this EP is f*cking awesome. It has elements of funk, psychedelia, techno and house. And all of it is handled so well that you never get overwhelmed by noise. It mixes the chilling and distant effects of cybernetic/electronic beats with the organic and fluent sounds of funk that result in something altogether new and refreshing. Really looking forward to the next release from Crystal Bandito!
