Charles I – “Attrition Part I & II”
Apart from the really cool artwork and his killer tagline “I believe in nothing. I like the color red.” we don’t know much about Samuel Luria better known as Charles I. All we know is that he makes some of the best dark and evil techno we have heard in a while. And we are so glad to hear these sounds coming from L.A!
So a few days ago he released a two part EP titled “Attrition” that has been delivering an onslaught of crackling, brooding synth work. Our ears have been assaulted in the best way possible and we can’t seem to get these tracks out of our minds. And the best part is that he is giving them both away for free. Definitely keeping an ear out for him from now on.
