AlunaGeorge – “I Remember (ft. Flume)”
The AlunaGeorge and Flume collab is finally here with a full stream thanks to the indomitable Annie Mac. The single is called “I Remember” and is lifted from the duo’s upcoming album by the same name. According to Aluna, the album is still in progress but so far these two tracks are serving up all we need to hop on that pre-order button as soon as it pops up. This collab was announced a couple weeks back and now we finally get to hear this majestic downtempo anthem.
It carries Flume’s chopped and soulful melodies with Aluna’s vocals front and center completely leading the charge. A bit of R&B oomph thrown in for those looking to make a connection in the crowd. George and Flume definitely lay down the law with this production. The song is about the unexpected feelings that come bubbling back to the surface after bumping into an ex.
